Job Summary and Qualifications

Full timeย -ย May be required to work alternate shifts and mayย be requiredย to float to other practice locations.ย 


Seekingย aย Limited Medical Radiologic Technologist (LMRT). The LMRT performs allย requiredย clinical and radiological dutiesย in accordance withย state requirements andย licenses. Operates radiologic equipment to produce radiographs (X-rays) of all bony anatomy for diagnostic purposes as directed by Physician. Maintains a safe diagnostic radiological environment based on practice standards and radiation safety guidelines.ย ย ย 


What you will do in this role:ย 


Performs all x-ray views according to providerโ€™s orders, under state law and in compliance withย licenses. ย ย 


Monitors the equipment for mechanical safety.ย Communicate withย any problems or unusual situations with leadership inย anย appropriate manner.ย ย 


Maintain a working knowledge of all equipment and upgrades.ย 


Works with all clinic staff to ensure efforts are coordinated and that patients receive high quality care and services.ย ย 


Works as a team member to ensure clinic efficiencies are within guidelines.ย ย 


Understands and follows radiation safety, company complianceย programs,ย policiesย and procedures.ย ย 


What Qualifications you will need:ย 


EDUCATION:ย 


  • High school graduate or equivalent with education and training from an accredited radiology sciences program per state requirementsย requiredย 

EXPERIENCE:ย 


  • Experience in a medical office setting preferredย 

CERTIFICATION/LICENSE:ย 


  • Possession of active andย unrevoked Radiologyย certificationย requiredย ย 
  • Acceptable licensure/certifications are:ย ย 
  • Limited Medical Radiology Technician (LMRT) license in state of residencyย 
  • Basic X-ray machine operator license/certification per state requirementsย 
  • BLS may beย requiredย as per practice standardย
