The Department of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering (ECEE) at CU Boulder is seeking a Temporary Researcher.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
  • Use of the Density-Dimension Algorithm (DDA) for ice and atmospheric satellite data analysis.
  • Application of the algorithm to data from several satellite missions.
  • Creation of code descriptions.
  • Assistance with onboarding of new student researchers.

The hire rate for this temporary position will be $20.00 per hour.

What We Require
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Earth or Atmospheric Sciences, Computer Sciences, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Previous research experience.
What You Will Need
  • Experience in the DDA (algorithm structure and applications), solid mathematical skills, and understanding of lidar satellite systems.
What We Would Like You to Have
  • Interest in interdisciplinary research, preferably experience in interdisciplinary research.
