Job description

Placement Type:
Temporary
Salary:
$45-60 Hourly
Start Date:
Aug 3, 2026
Our AI tech client is looking for a versatile remote Contract Graphic Designer to join our team for approximately 30 hours per week. We need someone who balances a sharp eye for layout and typography with the technical chops to scale design systems across the finish line.
In this role, you'll serve as an extension of our in-house design team, helping our team cover day-to-day marketing design needs. You will design high-impact marketing collateral, build user-friendly templates, handle production scaling, and help ensure our brand looks tight and polished across every touchpoint, from social ads to trade show booths.
The Role at a Glance
  • Marketing Design Coverage: Serve as an execution partner to cover a wide variety of day-to-day marketing assets, including campaign rollouts and sales enablement.
  • Creative Adaptation: Take core brand concepts and expand them into full-scale campaigns, making sure the design works seamlessly whether it's a LinkedIn graphic or a 40-foot booth wrap.
  • Brand Quality Control: Be an advocate for our visual identity, ensuring public-facing materials are flawless and on-brand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collateral & Layout Design: Design and format high-performing sales and marketing assets, including white papers, technical briefs, solution sheets, presentation decks, and case studies.
  • Build Template Systems: Create and maintain clean, easy-to-use templates in Canva and Figma so Field Marketing and Sales teams can customize materials quickly without breaking the brand.
  • Campaign & Asset Scaling: Handle high-volume versioning, resizing, and production of creative assets for paid media, social, and web across various formats and specs.
  • Event & Environmental Design: Lay out graphics for events and trade shows (backdrops, counters, signage), ensuring technical print specs, resolution, and bleed lines are accurate.

Role Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience: Marketing design, production design, or junior art direction, ideally within a cybersecurity, SaaS, or tech company.
  • Technical Toolkit: Expert-level skills in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma, Canva, PowerPoint, and Google Slides.
  • Design & Print Fluency: Strong grasp of typography, layout, and hierarchy, alongside solid pre-flight knowledge (CMYK vs. RGB, bleed specs, large-format resolution needs).
  • Autonomous & Organized: Highly organized file management (tidy layers, clear naming) and comfortable managing your 30-hour workload independently with light supervision.
  • Speed & Detail: Ability to handle high-volume production tasks quickly without sacrificing quality.

Bonus Points
  • Smart Workflows: Experience using AI tools to speed up repetitive tasks (image expansion, background removal, batch processing).
  • Figma Systems: Experience working with styles, components, and libraries in Figma.
  • Light Motion: Ability to turn static graphics into simple, eye-catching GIFs or light motion assets.

Portfolio Expectations
  • Layout & Grid Work: Multi-page documents, ebooks, or sales sheets with strong typographic hierarchy.
  • Template Design: Examples of Canva or Figma templates built for non-designers.
  • Campaign Extension: Examples showing how a single design concept was rolled out across multiple formats (e.g., event banner, social ad, slide deck).
