Job Overview

The Student Assistant supports the Office of Graduate Careers at the Georgetown University Law Center (Georgetown Law), which is responsible for career and professional development advising and programming for graduate students. The assistant is expected to work 20-40 hours per week, Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Eastern. Duties include assisting with researching legal employers and practice areas, conducting research and analysis on employment data, revising and updating website information, and providing support for Office of Graduate Careers projects and initiatives.

Work Interactions

The work performed by this position supports the research and administrative activities of the career advisors at the Office of Graduate Careers. The Student Assistant reports to the Recruitment Manager and to the Assistant Dean. The Student Assistant has no direct reports.

Pay Range

The projected hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is: $17.55 - $21.45. Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's business needs and external factors.
