Job description

This is a temporary position covering Wednesday and Saturdays. The shifts are 2/10-hour shifts, 2 x weekly for a total of 20 hours a week.  This position is eligible for benefits and SHIFT DIFFERENTIALS.

Schedule Requirements:

  • Thursday and Friday- 11:00 AM-7:00 PM
  • Saturdays- 12:00 PM- 10:00 PM

What will you do as a Radiology Technologist?

  • Operate radiographic, fluoroscopic, and portable imaging equipment
  • Independently perform imaging procedures in diagnostic, surgical, and mobile settings
  • Position and prepare patients, review clinical notes, and explain procedures
  • Ensure quality imaging and proper documentation in PACS
  • Follow safety protocols, use protective shielding, and prepare contrast materials
  • Collaborate with care teams and support radiology students
  • Maintain clean and stocked work areas; adhere to hospital policies
  • Rotate shifts, campuses, and cover on weekends or as needed

What do you need to be a Radiology Technologist?

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • ARRT certification required
  • NYS Radiologic Technologist license required (or temporary permit for new grads)
  • Must pass ARRT boards within 6 months if hired as a new graduate

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift/move up to 35 lbs
  • Perform manual tasks and data entry
  • Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English

Salary Range: $33.71- $50.56/hour Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
