Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities
  • Manage laboring patients, including monitoring fetal heart rates and administering medications.
  • Provide support and care for antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients.
  • Assist in cesarean deliveries and provide post-operative care.
  • Titrate oxytocin and insulin drips as per protocols while monitoring patient responses.
  • Maintain accurate documentation using the EPIC system following AWHONN standards.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including OB techs and respiratory therapists.
Qualifications
  • Active RN license and a minimum of 1 year L&D experience in the past 3 years.
  • BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required; STABLE certification preferred.
  • Familiarity with EFM and the ability to read fetal heart monitor strips.
  • Proficient in the administration and monitoring of labor-related medications.
  • Availability for weekend, holiday shifts, and potential on-call duties.
  • Experience with patient care in high acuity and dynamic settings preferred.
