Temporary laborers typically perform duties like loading and unloading materials, cleaning job sites, assisting skilled workers, or operating basic equipment. Their employment usually ends when the project concludes or the temporary need is fulfilled. • Prepare work areas for underground construction, including excavation support, trench preparation, and site cleanup.
  • Work as part of a crew on sewer, watermain, storm sewer, concrete, or asphalt projects as needed.
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment on active construction sites.
  • Perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, carrying, shoveling, and working in and around trenches.
  • Communicate effectively with foreman and crew members to ensure tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
