No Nights, No Weekends, No Holidays | 750K+ Base | 75K Sign-On


A hospital-employed cardiology program in Alabama is seeking an interventional cardiologist looking to practice high-quality medicine without the demanding schedule typically associated with the specialty. With a brand-new cath lab, low STEMI volume, and flexible scheduling, including a two-weeks-on, two-weeks-off option, this role offers a rare balance of clinical excellence and personal time.


Practice Details



  • Single-physician cardiology practice with dedicated RN support and optional scribes
  • Brand-new 2023 cath lab with GE equipment and nuclear stress testing capabilities
  • Broad cardiology scope including hypertension, heart failure, and stress echocardiography
  • Minimal STEMI volume, no structural heart program, and opportunity to help shape the direction of both general and interventional cardiology services

Schedule



  • Monday through Friday with no nights, no weekends, and no holidays
  • Primarily clinic-based with scheduled procedural time in the hospital cath lab
  • Flexible scheduling options including two weeks on and two weeks off
  • Support staff handle prep and coordination to keep the days running efficiently

Compensation & Benefits



  • Base salary starting at 750,000 with wRVU incentives pushing total comp past 1 million
  • 75,000 sign-on bonus and up to 15,000 in relocation assistance
  • Loan repayment available up to 1,000 per month for the duration of employment
  • Full benefits including malpractice with tail, medical, dental, vision, and CME support
