12 Hour Day/Night Shifts Available * Paterson, NJ

Leading national healthcare organization with multiple hospitals throughout NJ is seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to care for patients and facilitate their speedy recovery. Along with ensuring the highest level of quality care, candidates will play an integral role in educating patients and their families on prevention and healthy habits and, be able to follow health and safety guidelines consistently.

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring patient's condition and assessing their needs to provide the best possible care, advice and outcomes.
  • Observing and interpreting patient's symptoms and communicating them to physicians and other medical staff.
  • Collaborating with physicians, case managers, therapists, and other nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients.
  • Performing routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections, etc.) and filling in patients' charts.
  • Adjusting and administering patient's medication and providing treatments according to physician's orders.
  • Providing immediate medical care in emergencies.
  • Fostering a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families.
  • Expanding knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences, etc.

Requirements include:

  • 6 + months of proven experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Valid New Jersey licensure as a Registered Nurse
  • Certified BLS from the American Heart Association (AHA)
