Java L3 Production Support [ServiceNow/ AWS Cloud/]

Piscataway, NJ (Need Onsite day 1,hybrid 3 days from office)

Contract- W2


The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects for client’s application support engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer stakeholders, and other vendor teams.
  • Incident & Problem Management: Oversee L3 troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and permanent bug fixes for business-critical applications.
  • Ensure complex incidents are resolved, SLA compliance is maintained, and system stability is driven by automation
  • Drive continuous service improvement by implementing intelligent automation, GenAI tools, and proactive monitoring to reduce incident volumes
  • Create or execute work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs or requirements
  • Work cross-functionally to identify resources needed and assign individual responsibilities
  • Effectively apply project management methodology and enforce quality standards
  • Effectively facilitate scheduled client meetings
  • Make use of new and emerging technologies and practices for potential application in client’s IT environments


Requirements:

  • 12-15+ years of experience in IT services, consulting, or technology delivery, preferably in IT production support (L3)
  • Working on techlines, client facing and good stakeholder management.
  • Must have a development background (preferably Java)
  • Hands on with ServiceNow, Jira and Confluence
  • Experience with Java full stack, Spring Boot, React, Microservices and AWS
  • Strong domain expertise in Retirement Services, including 401(k), retirement recordkeeping, benefits administration, or wealth and retirement platforms.
  • Proven track record of stakeholder management and client engagement.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • PMP, Agile, or similar project management certifications are a plus.
