Job description

With offices in Baton Rouge, Beaumont, Houston, Corpus Christi, and Columbus, as well as job sites around the country, ISC has grown our team as high as 3,000+ associates and offers full-service engineering, construction, and maintenance solutions throughout the United States.
The Position:
We are looking for a positive, energetic and experienced Human Resources Coordinator with a wide variety of abilities that complement ISC's culture of integrity.
Applicants should have the ability to:
  • Work closely with HR Management to identify staffing needs, and determine best recruiting practices to attract the most highly qualified candidates.
  • Research, source (using cold calls, referrals, data mining and internet resources), evaluate resumes, conduct screening interviews to qualify candidates and present candidates to project management.
  • Recruiting, screen, and interview craft candidates.
  • Greet visitors to Human Resources Office.
  • Assist applicants with completion of online application and onboarding.
  • Assist Spanish Speaking applicants as needed.
  • Previous Industrial Recruiting experience
  • Coordinate medical screenings, safety council and background checks.
  • Process HR documentation, data entry and scanning.
  • Communicate clearance status, start dates and job site requirements to applicants/employees.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of HR policies and procedures and ensure consistent compliance.
  • Knowledge of DISA, E-Verify and I-9 completion
  • Maintains proactive communication with HR management to ensure clarity and alignment on processes and protocols.
  • Work independently and capable of multi-tasking.
  • Performs other administrative functions as assigned.
  • Promotes teamwork; coaches and guides others

Qualifications:
  • Previous Industrial Craft Recruiting Experience - preferably Electrical experience
  • Bilingual: proficient in English and Spanish a must.
  • This role may require temporary onsite work at the Houston/League City office; candidates must be able to commute when business needs arise.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Presentable dress and appearance.
  • Willingness to listen and learn. Attention to detail, sense of urgency and energy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with understanding of meeting deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Typically has 5+ years' experience with Industrial Construction and/or Maintenance background
