Position Summary
The Temporary Operations Associate is a key member of the Bright Endeavors team, whose primary responsibilities are supporting floor operations and production during the holiday season. This is an in person role at our Bright Endeavors location in East Garfield Park. 


Location: Bright Endeavors (627 N Albany Ave) 

Schedule: 20 hours/week, Tuesday - Friday 9am-2pm

Hourly Wage: $17.50

Dates: October 1 - December 23


Key Responsibilities

  • Clean, dry, and prepare candle vessels, pots, and other light equipment
  • Pour, finish, and stock candles and other products
  • Preparing items for shipment and completing other order fulfillment tasks
  • Organizing the fulfillment bay and production floor
  • Provide assistance to the Operations Coordinators 
  • Performs other related duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent 
  • Experience working in operations, production, manufacturing, or inventory fulfillment preferred 
  • Strong decision-making skills and excitement about working in a fast-paced, physically active environment required


Other Considerations

  • This is a temporary position and is not eligible for benefits or holiday pay
  • This position earns time towards paid sick leave, available on day 30
  • 50% discount on Bright Endeavors products


Work Environment: This position requires the ability to stand or sit for up to eight hours, walk up and down stairs, and lift or move items up to 50–60 pounds (or perform these tasks with reasonable accommodation). The production environment may include varying noise levels and temperature conditions typical of a manufacturing setting.
