Job Title: Inventory Support Associate **(Temporary Position,1st Shift)**

Job Description

This temporary role supports a manufacturing facility in eastern Indianapolis by assisting with inventory activities on 1st shift. You will manually count parts and hardware, operate scales to record weights, and help audit inventory counts to ensure accurate stock records. This position involves hands-on general labor tasks and contributes directly to efficient production and inventory control.

Responsibilities

  • Manually count parts, hardware, and related components to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Physically handle items and use scales to measure and record weights as part of inventory tracking.
  • Assist with auditing inventory counts to verify accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Perform general labor tasks associated with inventory, including organizing, staging, and moving materials as needed.
  • Use basic scanning tools or devices, when required, to help track and document inventory movements.

Essential Skills

  • Proven ability to perform accurate manual counting of parts, hardware, and materials.
  • Experience with general labor tasks in a warehouse, production, or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to use scales to weigh items and record measurements correctly.
  • Basic understanding of inventory and inventory control processes.
  • Capability to assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy when counting, weighing, and recording data.
