Job Title: Technical Program Manager (Localization Operations)
Location: Remote (Continental US - Any Time Zone)
Duration: Temporary Contract (Through End of Year, with strong possibility for extension into 2027)
Begin: ASAP
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to provide operational coverage across multiple localization channels. This role requires a balance of technical operations and stakeholder leadership. In this role, you will diagnose and resolve systemic workflow issues, while driving cross-functional alignment across technical and global program teams.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Coverage & Diagnostics: Monitor and maintain end-to-end localization pipelines across multiple channels. Identify root causes of operational disruptions, resolve technical blockers, and restore pipeline flow efficiently.
  • Stakeholder & Decision Leadership: Manage relationships across cross-functional product, content, and engineering teams. Lead discussions, reconcile competing priorities, and drive decisive consensus when alignment or disagreements arise.
  • Process Enhancement: Evaluate existing localization workflows, tool integrations, and automation pathways to optimize throughput and output quality.
  • Program Tracking: Track channel deliverables, vendor performance metrics, and operational SLAs to ensure seamless execution throughout the contract period.

Required Qualifications:
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager specializing in global localization programs.
  • Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of end-to-end localization workflows, CAT tools, translation management systems (TMS), internationalization (i18n), and automated publishing pipelines.
  • Technical Ops Acumen: Hands-on experience diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex localization architecture and operational breaks.
  • Stakeholder Management: Proven track record of guiding cross-functional decision-making, navigating ambiguity, and resolving technical or operational disagreements across diverse stakeholders.
  • Work Authorization: Must be based in the continental United States (flexible across any US time zone).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience managing enterprise-scale cloud technical content or localization initiatives within tech organizations.
  • Strong background in process automation and metric-driven operational management.
