Job Summary:
Recruiting from Scratch is representing a rapidly growing AI company transforming the hiring process through conversational AI. They are seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to design and build core platforms for real-time AI interviews and develop customer-facing applications across the full stack.
Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and scale the core platform powering real-time AI interview experiences.
• Develop customer-facing applications across the full stack using React, TypeScript, Python, and cloud infrastructure.
• Build highly responsive conversational AI systems capable of supporting thousands of concurrent interviews.
• Optimize latency, reliability, and scalability across real-time voice and video applications.
• Build enterprise software that integrates with applicant tracking systems and customer hiring workflows.
• Design intuitive interfaces for hiring teams to review interview insights, analytics, and candidate evaluations.
• Collaborate closely with AI engineers to integrate large language models and conversational AI into production applications.
• Architect scalable backend services, APIs, and cloud infrastructure supporting enterprise customers.
• Contribute to product direction while rapidly shipping new customer-facing features.
• Help establish engineering best practices within a fast-growing startup environment.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5–10 years of professional full-stack software engineering experience.
• Strong experience building production applications using React and TypeScript.
• Backend expertise with Python, including FastAPI, asynchronous programming, and scalable API development.
• Experience building customer-facing SaaS products from concept through production.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, Docker, and modern DevOps practices.
• Strong computer science fundamentals with a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related STEM field.
• Proven experience contributing as an individual contributor within high-growth engineering organizations.
• Strong product intuition and ability to collaborate closely with product and design teams.
• Excellent communication skills and enthusiasm for working in a highly collaborative, onsite environment.
Preferred:
• Experience at high-growth startups or as an early engineering hire.
• Background building conversational AI, voice AI, LLM-powered applications, or agentic AI systems.
• Experience designing real-time distributed systems with strict latency requirements.
• Strong frontend design sense with familiarity using Figma and modern UI development practices.
• Experience integrating enterprise software with third-party systems and APIs.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, vector databases, and AI infrastructure.
• Previous founding engineer or startup leadership experience.
• Passion for building AI-native products that directly impact customer workflows.
