Responsibilities

  • Assist the Quality Lead and Operational Quality Manager in achieving company-wide objectives to optimize product quality and operating efficiency.
  • Support compliance with company policies, including cGMP, ISO Standards, Health and Safety Requirements, and Continuous Improvement.
  • Read and interpret part drawings, manuals, and other materials to determine specifications and inspection procedures.
  • Analyze test data and compute results to ensure product quality.
  • Collect samples for testing and model use.
  • Compare product characteristics such as color, shape, texture, or grade against standards to ensure conformity.
  • Perform lot documentation review and approval to uphold procedural compliance.
  • Reject products and materials that do not meet specifications.
  • Discuss inspection results with responsible parties and recommend corrective actions.
  • Inspect and measure materials, products, and work for specification compliance.
  • Mark items with details such as grade and acceptance or rejection status.
  • Measure product dimensions using instruments like rulers, calipers, micrometers, and optical gaging machines.
  • Write reports on nonconformance, rework instructions, and deviations.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned.
Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buffalo Grove, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
