Job description

BioPhase Solutions specializes in recruiting top talented professionals for Southern California's Scientific community. We are currently looking for QA Inspectors to work for a leading Greater Riverside area cosmetic company.

2nd Shift
Pay Rate: $24/hour (2nd shift: $24.50/hour)
temp-to-hire: 6-12+ months
 
Responsibilities:
  • Inspection of packaging components, finished goods, and or other items including all required physical testing.
  • Produce and maintain complete and accurate records of inspections.
  • Proficient in operation and care (including preventative maintenance) of all sampling and testing equipment/tools.
  • Perform OTC drug product sampling and inspection.
  • Exercise and monitor GMP compliance in work environment.
  • Perform non-routine experimentation/problem solving with minimal supervision.
  • Understand and exercise all company safety requirements and procedures.
  • Rotate addition department responsibilities with other inspectors.
  • Line inspectors must be cross trained for Incoming versus Line Quality Control
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years’ experience with line inspection and documentation, and handling of defects and nonconformance issues is required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent problem solving, decision making and organizational skills.
  • Familiar with calculator, rulers/other measuring devices, scales, and digital/spring torque meters desirable.
  • Knowledge of computer applications (i.e. Microsoft Office).
