Job Title: Yard Forklift Operator
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Location: Harrisburg, NC 28075
Pay: $19.00–$20.00 per hour (Based on Experience) 


Schedule:
1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Occasional Saturdays)
2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (Occasional Saturdays) 


Job Summary: 

We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our team in a full-time temp-to-hire position. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy forklifts in construction, steel, manufacturing, or other industrial environments. This position requires precision, reliability, and a strong commitment to workplace safety while handling heavy and oversized materials. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Safely operate a heavy forklift to transport materials throughout construction, industrial, or metal-handling facilities 

  • Load and unload heavy materials from trucks, storage areas, and production workstations 

  • Handle large, heavy, and irregularly shaped materials with care and efficiency 

  • Properly stack, secure, and transport materials to prevent damage and ensure workplace safety 

  • Perform daily forklift inspections and routine equipment maintenance checks 

  • Report equipment issues or safety concerns promptly
