Job description

Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the proper set up, start up, and monitoring of injection molds and auxiliary equipment in assigned areas (i.e., chillers, mold heaters, mold hot runner controllers, automation EOAT, sprue pickers and robots, and material drying and delivery systems).
  • Responsible for cycle time improvements and machine optimization.
  • Responsible for programming robots.
  • Create Maintenance work orders for issues with all auxiliary equipment.
  • Complete required documentation to support manufacturing activities in ERP system

Qualifications:
  • 5 years minimum of experience performing similar molding responsibilities
  • LSR/Medical Molding Experience preferred
  • Knowledge of process troubleshooting using scientific molding methods.
  • Knowledge of injection molding machinery, control systems (electric, hydraulic, pneumatic).
  • Advanced knowledge of auxiliary equipment (mold temperature controllers, hot runner controllers, sprue pickers, robots).
  • Mold set up and use of standard tools and methods.
  • Advanced knowledge of hydraulic core pull systems/safety limit switch and sequence.
  • Advanced knowledge of Hot Runner / Valve gate systems.
  • Advanced understanding of blue prints of part drawings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically word and excel

Range from $30-38 per hour. Compensation for this position will be determined by the candidate's qualifications, experience, education, and overall alignment with the role's responsibilities
