Shift: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Qualivis Program - MUSC Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Qualivis Program - MUSC Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Community hospital experience is required. Proficient in coronary diagnostic/intervention scrub and monitor. Fuji Vidistar.

Preferred Skills/Experience: MAC Lab.

Special Requests: RTO is due at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs. Any candidate that has 7+ days and/or includes holiday RTO will have to be submitted to the facility for approval and can delay the process. If your start date is within 90 days, you must complete all labs within 72 hours of signing an offer with MUSC.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Diagnostic & interventional coronary cath, diagnostic and interventional vascular, angioplasty, Shockwave, temp pacer, IABP, Impella, carotid angiogram, atherectomy, intravascular US (IVUS), FFR/IFR, pericardiocentesis, and cardiac biopsies. Daily caseload: We run 4 to 5 labs per day with 2 CVT per lab. Case load is around 20 cases per day. Travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November; peak August–September). If unavailable for emergency response duties, please do not confirm new assignments or extensions during this period.

Shift & Scheduling: Will work 4x10hrs day shifts (0700-1730) but varies as we stay until procedures are complete. Call required: 1 weekend per month, a call and eve shift per week. Call requirements may change based on staffing needs. Holidays as needed.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
