1st Shift | Monday-Friday | Temporary Assignment | $23.00/hr

Personnel Staffing is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented HR Coordinator for a temporary assignment expected to last 12-18 months. This position is ideal for someone with human resources, administrative, payroll, onboarding, or employee records experience who can maintain confidentiality and support day-to-day HR operations in a professional environment.

  • Assignment Type: Temporary, expected to last 12-18 months
  • Pay: $23.00 per hour
  • Travel: Minimal, as needed
Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain confidentiality of personal, employment, and personnel-related information.
  • Review employee files and provide information needed for personnel actions and HR inquiries.
  • Compile, prepare, and maintain reports, documents, and records related to HR activity.
  • Interpret and follow HR policies while assisting employees and managers with HR-related questions.
  • Maintain HR information systems, prepare documentation, and process required paperwork.
  • Process HR transactions such as new hires, transfers, promotions, supervisor changes, terminations, and leaves of absence.
  • Assist with payroll processing, timekeeping, and related documentation as required.
  • Support recruiting and onboarding activities, including updating records for new hires.
  • Scan, organize, and file documents into appropriate employee records.
  • Assist with correspondence, vendor support, compliance tasks, and special HR projects as assigned.
  • Serve as a point of contact for HR-related calls and route inquiries to the appropriate team member when needed.
Qualifications
  • Previous HR, administrative, payroll, onboarding, recruiting, or employee records experience preferred.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required.
  • Experience with HRIS, timekeeping, or payroll systems is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information professionally.
  • Good communication, organization, customer service, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
  • Primarily office-based work using standard office equipment and computer systems.
  • May require occasional time on the production floor, including walking, standing, stooping, or bending.
  • Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. when needed.
  • Must be able to follow safety policies and wear required PPE when applicable.
