Job description

This is a well-established company that takes different types of heavy metal, brass, and copper and cuts down to customer specifications. They support companies in both the aerospace and firearms manufacturing industries.
 
You will be successful in this Material Handler role is you are a team player, flexible and open to support where needed.

Job Type: Full-time, Temp-to-hire 
 
Material Handler Responsibilities:
  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately for shipment.
  • Load and unload trucks safely using a sit-down forklift.
  • Operate RF scanners to track inventory and process orders
  • Measure materials accurately using tap measures and other measuring tools
  • Perform general warehouse duties, including lifting materials up to 60 lbs and assisting with additional tasks as needed.
 
Schedule: Day or Swing
  • Day: Monday to Friday, 10am-6pm
    • Occasional overtime
 
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 /hr.
 
Material Handler Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience operating a sit-down forklift, required 
  • Experience working in a metal/steel warehouse or distribution environment
  • Ability to use RF scanners and basic measuring tools
  • Ability to safety lift and move materials weighing up to 60lbs.
  • Ability to work a Monday-Friday schedule from 10:00am to 6:00pm and perform a variety of warehouse tasks as assigned.
