Gamma Team Security Inc provides professional security services across multiple states. We are currently seeking Armed Security Guards (Part Time) to work at various locations and facilities throughout the state of Michigan. This position involves providing a safe and secure environment for clients, employees, and visitors at assigned sites.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine foot or vehicle patrols of assigned areas (interior and exterior).
  • Monitor surveillance cameras, access control systems, and alarm equipment.
  • Manage facility access by verifying identification, issuing visitor passes, and documenting entries.
  • Observe, identify, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies in a calm and professional manner.
  • Maintain order, protect property, and ensure the safety of employees and visitors.
  • Prepare accurate and timely daily activity logs and incident reports.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and emergency personnel when necessary.
  • Follow all company procedures, client protocols, and applicable state and federal regulations.
Armed Security Guard – Requirements
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
  • Valid Michigan Concealed Pistol License (CPL)
  • Successful completion of all required firearm safety and legal training
  • Valid Michigan Driver’s License
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or legal resident
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in one or more of the following:
    - Law enforcement
    - Military service
    - Employment with a licensed security agency
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Must not have any felony convictions
  • Must be mentally and emotionally fit to carry a firearm and perform security duties
  • Must be in good physical condition
  • Must not have been adjudged mentally incompetent, unless legally restored by court order
  • Must have no outstanding warrants
  • Must successfully pass a background check
  • Must be willing to have fingerprints taken
  • Must pass drug screening and have no substance dependency.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous security, customer service, military, or law enforcement experience.
  • Experience with security technology and reporting systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain composed under pressure. 
Work Environment
This position involves working indoors and outdoors, sometimes in varying weather conditions. Officers must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times and follow all safety protocols.
