Job description

Position Summary

 The Temporary Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to members of the leadership team. This role requires someone with a strong work ethic, who is organized and detailed, and who can work efficiently with multiple priorities. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Provide administrative support to leadership, including preparing communications, reports, forms, and other materials; maintaining files and records; processing mail; entering data; scheduling appointments; and coordinating meetings. 
  • Welcome and assist visitors and respond to, screen, and route telephone calls professionally. 
  • Support human resources activities, including preparing mailings and communications related to recognition and milestone anniversaries.
  • Organize and maintain confidential operational, personnel, equipment, and business records.
  • Support other projects and perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelors degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of administrative support or similar experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and telephone communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities accurately and independently.
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor.

Classification 

This position is expected to be temporary. The duration of the assignment may be shortened or extended based on available work and business needs. If the current assignment concludes and an additional project or longer-term business need exists, the employee may be considered for continued employment or another opportunity. Continued employment, an extension of the assignment, or placement in another position is not guaranteed. Employment remains at will and may be ended by either the employee or KemperSports at any time, with or without cause or advance notice, subject to applicable law. 

Pay Range

$18 - $22 per hour
