JOB TITLE: Temp General Service Worker
BUSINESS UNIT: Pepperidge Farm
FUNCTION: Supply Chain
NUMBER AND TITLES OF DIRECT REPORTS: 0
GRADE/LEVEL (If role is already leveled):H01B
GENERAL SUMMARY (Generally 4-6 sentences demonstrating key outcomes of role):
• Following established procedures and working under supervision, be able to perform the job duties of production, plant services, distribution, and central palletizing.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (Key focus areas / accountabilities including how those accountabilities are managed with percentage of time allocation for each result)
• Job duties include palletizing 20-30 lb. finished cases, monitoring case counts, and ensure case quality.
• Perform the job duties associated with the tote station including the safe operation of tow motors, and maintaining weight and general quality information.
• Responsible for filling in for call-offs, leaves, vacations, absences, etc. for designated departments.
• When scheduled in the Production Department will fulfill the job duties of mixer, scaler/relief, depositor operator, and laminator operator.
• Will be scheduled in Plant Services on weekends and during the week, if necessary. Required to perform job duties associated with that department.
• Will be scheduled in Distribution on a "fill-in" basis. Required to perform job duties associated with that department.
• Become a trained back-up in other operator positions.
• Heavy lifting is required.
• Always follow safety work rules and complete job tasks in a safe manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.
• Use SAP as required.
• Follow all approved procedures and work instructions.
• Maintain good work area housekeeping practices according to 5S standards.
• Follow all safety rules.
• Assist with rework function.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by Management.
COMPLEXITY AND SCOPE:
Follow Quality Control standards, safety regulations, and good manufacturing practices.
Follow safety work rules and complete job tasks in a safe manner at all times.

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation.
