SUBJECT: Job Opening - Biscuit Operation

We have the following job available in our Biscuit Operation:

JOB TITLE:NO Cookies General Bakeshop Helper

# OF OPENINGS: ONE (1)

BASE RATE/HOUR: $28.42-$31.41

HOURS: Normal start-10:35p.m to 6:40a.m. (RED Team) (Hours may vary with production assignment.) Must be able to work overtime. Start and end times may be adjusted based on business needs.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • To include a wide variety of temporary assignments scheduled by immediate supervisor in the Biscuit Processing area including, but not limited to, Scaling, Mixing, Utility, Depositing, Ovens, Chocolate Room/Robots, and Relief.
  • The Processing GBH is a multi-functional position that will rotate through several jobs within the classification.
  • The incumbent will be assigned sanitation duties, and will be required to operate a lift truck and powered pallet jack. Since duties will include substituting or providing relief coverage for Processing Machine Operators, candidates must possess mechanical aptitude.
  • The Processing GBH must support all plant safety, quality, SAP, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives. This support may include but is not limited to: serving in the role of 5S Leader, actively participating in all audits (i.e. Daily Sweep, Weekly Spot, etc.) and all aspects of team concepts, such as displaying a positive attitude, which are necessary to work collaboratively within a team environment. The person in this position must also perform other duties as assigned by his/her supervisor and/or manager.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

This job will require the successful candidate to perform basic preventive maintenance(Operator Asset Care) on equipment, as well as other Operator-Driven Reliability(ODR) duties including, but not limited to, cleaning, inspecting, and lubricating as assigned by the supervisor.
