LOCATION: This will be a hybrid position. On site days will be Cincinnati, OH.



The Full Stack Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining secure software applications that support mission-critical government and commercial programs. This role contributes across the entire software development lifecycle, building both front-end and back-end solutions.


The ideal candidate is comfortable working in an Agile environment, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and is passionate about building secure, scalable, and maintainable software.

Requirements:

Duties/Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack software applications.

· Develop responsive user interfaces and backend services.

· Build and maintain secure RESTful APIs.

· Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

· Participate in software architecture and design discussions.

· Perform unit, integration, and system testing.

· Participate in peer code reviews and implement feedback.

· Troubleshoot software defects and resolve production issues.

· Interpret customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

· Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle.

· Support software deployments and continuous improvement initiatives.

· Maintain technical documentation related to software design and implementation.


Skills

· Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript/TypeScript.

· Experience developing RESTful APIs.

· Experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.

· Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.

· Understanding of software development best practices and Agile methodologies.

· Familiarity with Linux operating systems.

Education & Experience

· Active Secret or Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility. A Polygraph is not required to be eligible for this position. However, the applicant must be willing and eligible for submission, depending on program requirements, after an offer is accepted and must be able to maintain the applicable clearance/access.

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· 1+ years of professional software development experience preferred.

· Experience working within Agile software development teams preferred.

· Experience supporting government or Department of Defense programs is a plus.


Physical Requirements

· Ability to remain seated and work at a computer for extended periods.

· Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds.

· Ability to communicate effectively in person and through virtual collaboration tools.
