00POSITION SUMMARY:
Processes and canvasses absentee and mail-in ballots and assists with Election Day preparation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Processes absentee and mail-in ballots.
  • Files applications
  • Assists with watcher certificates.
  • Proofreads election materials.
  • Prepares supply boxes for polling locations.
  • Copies petitions or other material as needed.
  • Answers telephones and helps at counter.
  • Participates in pre-canvass and canvass of ballots
  • Participates in the official election count.
  • Reports unusual conditions or questionable items to supervisor.
  • Assists with inventory between election cycles.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
