Job Description
FRC seeks a part-time instructor in the area of Environmental Studies (ENVR) to support the Ecosystem Restoration and Applied Fire Management Bachelor's Degree Program by teaching upper division courses in the area of forest management and planning.
Required Qualifications
Master's Degree or higher in a discipline related to Forestry and Natural Resources Management.
Desirable Qualifications
- Working knowledge of forest management and planning: including forest policy, silviculture, growth and yield modeling, forest management and operations, timber sale planning and administration, etc.
- Experience working with college students.
- Knowledge of northern Sierra forest ecosystems and current forest management projects and considerations.
