Prime Time Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN CVOR for a travel nursing job in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Job Description & Requirements

Travel RN โ€“ CVOR

Pennsylvania | Days | 7:00 AM โ€“ 7:30 PM

Experienced CVOR RN needed for a high-acuity cardiac surgery program. Candidate must be able to both scrub and circulate complex cardiac cases and be comfortable floating into other OR service lines when cardiac volume is low.

Assignment Details
  • Specialty: CVOR RN
  • Shift: Days, 7:00 AM โ€“ 7:30 PM
  • Experience Required: 3 years
  • Patient Ratio: 1:2
  • OR Size: 32 rooms
  • EMR: Epic
  • Call: Required
  • Weekend Requirement: Weekend call
  • Holidays: No holiday requirement
  • Floating: Yes โ€” may float to General, Urology, ENT, and other OR services within competency
  • First-Time Travelers: Accepted with appropriate experience
  • Scrubs: Provided
Required Experience

Candidate must have strong recent CVOR experience and be able to scrub and circulate cardiac surgery cases, including:

  • CABG
  • Aortic valve repair/replacement
  • Mitral valve repair/replacement
  • Heart transplant
  • Aortic dissections
  • LVAD/VAD procedures
Vascular / Thoracic Experience

Experience with the following is highly valued:

  • EVAR
  • TEVAR
  • TCAR
  • Open AAA repair
  • Vascular surgery
  • Thoracic procedures
  • VATS / thoracotomy
Required
  • BLS
  • Active Pennsylvania or Compact RN license at submission
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant OR/CVOR experience
Scheduling & Call
  • Cardiac volume may fluctuate
  • Average floating to the Main OR may occur approximately once per week and could be more frequent depending on CVOR volume
  • Call includes days, nights, and/or weekends depending on department needs
  • Block scheduling is not available
  • All RTO must be provided at time of submission
Local Candidates
  • 50-mile local radius
  • Local candidates are accepted at a local rate differential
Additional Compliance
  • Pennsylvania fingerprinting required
  • Labs must be completed within 48 hours of signing
  • Valid license, certifications, and references required
  • Flu vaccine required; medical/religious exemptions considered
  • COVID-19 vaccination not required
