Fire Sprinkler Installer

Location: Southern California (Local Candidates Only)
Job Type: Full-Time Pay: $21.25–$35.00 per hour, depending on experience

What You'll Do

As a Fire Sprinkler Installer, you'll play an essential role in protecting homes and businesses by installing and maintaining fire sprinkler systems.

Responsibilities include:

  • Install residential (CPVC/plastic) and commercial (steel) fire sprinkler systems.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and installation layouts.
  • Install, modify, and troubleshoot fire sprinkler piping systems in accordance with NFPA 13, NFPA 13R, and NFPA 13D standards.
  • Work independently while maintaining productivity and high-quality workmanship.
  • Communicate professionally with builders, inspectors, and jobsite superintendents.

Qualifications

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on fire sprinkler installation or related construction trade experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Certifications

  • Current OSHA 10 Card, or ability to obtain one within the first 90 days of employment.
  • BlazeMaster Installation Training Card, or ability to obtain one within the first 90 days of employment.

Skills

  • Strong English communication skills (reading, writing, and speaking) for jobsite safety and coordination.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Comfortable using mobile devices for field reporting and time tracking.

Driving Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to operate company vehicles safely.

Physical Requirements

  • Lift up to 100 pounds.
  • Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work overhead.
  • Safely operate hand and power tools.
  • Ability to distinguish colors for proper identification of system components.

Work Environment

  • Active residential and commercial construction sites.
  • Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, elevated noise levels, heights, ladders, and moving mechanical equipment.
