Job description

Fire Sprinkler Service Helper | $20–$22/HR | Temp-to-Hire


Are you mechanically inclined and looking to build a long-term career in the fire protection industry? We are seeking dependable Fire Sprinkler Service Helpers to join an established team and work alongside experienced sprinkler service technicians.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with the potential to grow into a long-term career. If you have experience with fire sprinklers, plumbing, pipefitting, mechanical work, or threaded pipe, we want to hear from you!


What You'll Be Doing

  • Assist experienced fire sprinkler service technicians with repairs and system modifications
  • Measure, cut, ream, thread, and assemble pipe
  • Help drain and refill fire sprinkler systems
  • Remove and replace sprinkler heads, fittings, and piping
  • Assist with locating leaks and damaged system components
  • Carry, stage, and organize tools and materials
  • Work from ladders and lifts as needed
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Work professionally in occupied commercial facilities
  • Learn fire sprinkler service procedures and system components


What We're Looking For

  • Previous fire sprinkler helper experience is preferred
  • Plumbing, pipefitting, mechanical, or similar construction experience will be considered
  • Pipe threading experience is strongly preferred
  • Experience using RIDGID or similar threading machines is a plus
  • Familiarity with black iron pipe and threaded fittings
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools
  • Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure
  • Comfortable working from ladders and lifts
  • Dependable transportation
  • Professional attitude and communication skills


Job Details

  • Pay: $20.00–$22.00 per hour, depending on experience
  • Type: Temp-to-Hire
  • Hours: Monday–Friday, 6:45 AM–4:00 PM
  • Background Check Required
