Temporary Financial Examiner Jobs (NOW HIRING)

• Process tax applications, claims, and account modifications with accuracy.
• Set up new tax licenses, special requests, and account updates.
• Manually enter and verify data from mailed applications.
• Utilize internal tax systems to review, update, and maintain customer records.
• Ensure data integrity while working with financial information.

• 2+ years of experience in a financial, banking, billing, or payroll environment.
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with numbers and financial data.
• Experience with data entry, processing claims, or high-volume transactions.
• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Prior experience in tax, government, or compliance-related roles.

• Gain valuable experience with state tax rules and regulations.
• Stable, full-time schedule (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
• Opportunity to work directly with the public and build customer service skills.
• Supportive team environment with hands-on training.

• In-office role in Pueblo, CO.
• Combination of independent work and client-facing responsibilities.
• Small team of 5 Tax Examiners—collaborative and supportive culture.
• Position includes working at a service window assisting scheduled appointments.

• Week 1: Formal State training
• Week 2: Classroom learning + shadowing
• Week 3: On-the-job training (guided work)
• Week 4: Independent work with coaching support

This is a Contract position based out of Pueblo, CO.

The pay range for this position is $25.43 - $25.43/hr.
