Delivery Driver – Temporary/Seasonal (FedEx Ground Routes)

TJH Logistics is a contracted service provider for FedEx, and we're hiring dependable, safety-focused drivers for temporary and seasonal delivery routes. Drivers can deliver in a FedEx-branded vehicle or through our Alternate Vehicle Program (AVP), using their own personal vehicle. This is a great fit if you want short-term work with the potential to continue on with us after the season ends.

About the Role

As a seasonal delivery driver, you'll operate a delivery vehicle — either a company-provided FedEx vehicle or your own personal vehicle through AVP — to pick up and deliver packages to homes and businesses along an assigned route during our peak season and other high-volume periods. You'll represent TJH Logistics and FedEx on the road, so we're looking for people who take pride in safe driving, punctuality, and great customer interactions.

Vehicle Options

We offer two ways to drive with us this season:

• Company Vehicle: Drive a FedEx-branded cargo van or box truck provided by TJH Logistics

• Alternate Vehicle Program (AVP): Use your own personal vehicle (must meet cargo space and condition requirements) to deliver packages. AVP drivers may be eligible for a vehicle/mileage stipend in addition to standard pay

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a delivery vehicle (company-provided FedEx vehicle or your own personal vehicle under AVP) along assigned residential and/or commercial routes

• Load, scan, and deliver packages accurately and on time

• Use a handheld scanner/mobile app to track deliveries and confirm drop-offs

• Inspect the vehicle before and after shifts and report any mechanical issues

• Provide friendly, professional service to customers at every stop

• Follow all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies

• Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding delays, road conditions, or delivery issues

• Keep pace with high package volumes during peak season

Schedule

• Temporary/seasonal assignment, generally running through the peak holiday shipping season (exact dates provided at hiring)

• Early morning start times required (specific start time provided based on route)

• Full-time and part-time seasonal schedules both available

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

• Must be at least 21 years of age

• Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout a shift and get in/out of the vehicle frequently

• Comfortable using a handheld scanner or delivery app

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

• Prior delivery, driving, or customer service experience preferred but not required

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

• Available to work through the full duration of the seasonal assignment

• AVP drivers only: Must own or have reliable access to a personal vehicle that meets cargo space and condition requirements, along with a valid vehicle registration and current auto insurance (minimum coverage as required by TJH Logistics)
