Job description

Under the direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the ABA Implementer provides direct implementation of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) goals for individuals with disabilities, primarily autism. Ensures supports provided meet organizational guidelines, funder requirements and accreditation standards. The ABA Implementer does not have a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification; however, RBT training will be provided upon employment. This is a temporary position while obtaining the RBT certification. Staff must complete certification within 60 days.
Essential Functions:

  • Provides ABA therapy through reviewing individuals' goals with BCBA and implementing individualized supports to achieve goals.
  • Communicates with team members regarding supports provided and regularly updates BCBA on individuals' progress towards goals.
  • Completes documentation and ensures compliance with organizational, funder and accreditation requirements.
  • May provide additional supports as needed, including transportation and community services supports.

  • Strong communication skills to be able to foster positive professional relationships with individuals, families and team members.
  • Basic computer skills for utilizing a variety of computer systems.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities, including autism, and their families preferred.
  • Will be working toward Registered Behavior Technician certification upon hire and must complete certification within 60 days.
Additional Requirements:
  • This position primarily works weekday day and evening hours. May also work weekends depending on the needs of the organization.
  • This position requires driving personal vehicle and may transport individuals. Travel may be local or regional depending on the needs of the organization.
  • Must have reliable vehicle and maintain current driver's license and proof of insurance.
  • Must complete and maintain all required trainings/certifications.
  • Must maintain confidential information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
