Estimating EngineerLocation: Mantua, OHShift: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM 3:00 PMSalary: $65,000$80,000 annuallyRequirements: Resume and Interview RequiredJob Summary:Our client is seeking an Estimating Engineer to prepare accurate cost estimates for manufacturing and engineering projects. This role works closely with customers, engineering, production, and purchasing to develop competitive quotations while ensuring project feasibility and profitability.Responsibilities:Prepare detailed cost estimates from customer drawings, blueprints, and specifications.Review customer requirements and determine material, labor, and production costs.Analyze manufacturing processes and recommend cost-effective solutions.Work closely with engineering, production, and purchasing teams.Request and evaluate supplier quotations.Develop project budgets and pricing proposals.Maintain estimating records and documentation.Assist with process improvements and cost reduction initiatives.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field preferred.Previous estimating or manufacturing engineering experience preferred.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ERP/MRP software experience is a plus.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
