Laser Machine Operator
Blue Collar

2st Shift
1:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Temp to hire
Position Summary:
We are looking to add a CNC Laser Operator to our machining team. This person will work with our 2 laser machines, Mazak CO2 laser and Mitsubishi CO2 laser.
This person will work closely with our manufacturing team daily to create and troubleshoot programs for manufacturing of various parts and components. The Operator will continuously set up and manage the production schedule of the laser to optimize operations to meet production demands.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate lasers in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Program lasers for efficient operations on parts to minimize scrap.
  • Communicate closely with the engineering team to develop best practices for manufacturability of parts.
  • Follow workplace safety standards.
  • Assist team members in other areas if needed to meet daily production goals.
  • Assist in problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 1+ years of CNC Laser operation experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds at varying frequencies.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to work overtime as required.
