Electrical Maintenance Mechanic

Location: 601 N. Wolfe Street, Baltimore, MD 21287

Hours:8-hour shift, 7a-3:30p on Friday, and a 16-hour shift on Saturday and Sunday, 7a-11:30p

Pay range: ย $35 - $40 per hour

Responsibilities

Performs maintenance, installation and repair work on electrical/pneumatic equipment, systems and components.ย  This work is performed under general supervision and using the tools and techniques of electrical technology.

Qualifications

Journeyman Electrical Card required

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Successful completion of a four (4) year Electrical Apprentice Program, which is approved/accepted by local or state government.

5 years of related work experience.

Ability to work in a fast pace environment.

Knowledge of safety rules, procedures and practices, including the proper use of safety equipment as defined by OSHA and industry standards.

Applies electrical and safety knowledge indicated herein.

Posses the ability to solve electrical maintenance and construction problems and manage information indicated herein.

Pneumatic tube system, Fire alarm system, and high-voltage switch-gearsย a plus.
