Put your content creator instincts to work producing trend-driven content for one of the world’s largest retailers.

RUN Studios and its client partner, a large online retailer headquartered in Seattle, are seeking a highly motivated, social-savvy Content Creator to own and execute content for social media programs spanning numerous categories on a 3-month contract. While this is a remote position, RUN Studios can only consider candidates currently residing in the following states at this time: CA, CO, FL, ID, MI, NJ, NY, OR, TX, WA.

As an avid social media user, this individual is knowledgeable in the latest social media trends and understands what goes into making social-first videos and stills. The individual in this role has a proven track record in producing highly engaging and elevated content that drives performance across KPIs, including driving follower growth, impressions, traffic, engagement rate, and revenue.

This critical team member will demonstrate strong ownership and maintain clear and concise communication with all stakeholders. They are an excellent problem solver, identifying priorities, managing multiple work streams, anticipating and managing potential blockers to achieve goals and complete milestones. They thrive in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment managing multiple, competing priorities simultaneously with meticulous attention to detail.

As a Content Creator, You Will

  • Produce TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest content (videos and stills) showcasing viral products.
  • Ideate video concepts, filming all original video assets (on mobile device) and editing whether in or outside of the TikTok and Instagram apps.
  • Contribute to creative strategy by brainstorming with social teams to create content ideas that infuse trends and pop culture that will increase engagement.
  • Partner alongside stakeholders to ensure content represents our brand identity and delivers on objectives.
  • Keep up with the latest social media trends, formats, and ad types.
  • Present concepts, creative deliverables, and learnings/insights in stakeholder reviews.

In This Role, You Bring

  • 5+ years relevant experience in content production.
  • Portfolio of social produced content
  • Multimedia content creation and editing with the ability to capture and edit videos and transform existing video into social-first content.
  • Live and breathe “social media culture” - knowledgeable and up-to-date in different social trends, pop culture, and best practices.
  • Eye for design, staging, and props to style interiors, fashion, and beauty in an aesthetic way.
  • Proficient with Adobe, Canva, and other editing and design software.
  • Bachelor’s degree equivalent professional experience.

Additional Position Details

  • Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Work Environment
    • Typical for an office setting or home environment.
    • Remote.
  • Travel
    • None.

This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee. Duties, responsibilities and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
