Mid-Level-Electrical Engineer (E2/E3)
Location Options: Naperville, IL /Atlanta, GA /Ridgeland, MS

Our Design Engineering Division provides comprehensive engineering, design, analysis and consulting for the energy sector. As a Kinectrics Engineer your work will help maintain a safe and sustainable zero-emission energy source, providing engineering solutions for traditional nuclear as well as some of the newest technologies in nuclear today!
About the Job
  • You will be working with a team of engineers across disciplines on client projects involving modifications to existing power generation facilities and plant electrical systems for today's leading energy providers.
  • Participates in the design, preparation and integration of major electrical power equipment.
  • Prepares engineering calculations and electrical control circuit designs.
  • Performs tests, researches problems through various sources of technical information.
  • Designs or modifies components and determines the intent of a specification /instruction.
  • Makes recommendations on the acceptability of materials supplied and work completed by contractors.
  • Provides support to engineering teams on a variety of client projects.
  • Occasional travel to client and vendor offices for design reviews and to plant site locations for construction coordination and field verification of designs required.

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET accredited school.
  • 3 to 7 years of related practical work experience.
  • Prior nuclear experience highly desirable.
  • Self-motivated and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must have effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CAD Software.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
