Job description


A non-profit organization is seeking an individual to greet people donating merchandise, give thanks, and hand out donor tax receipt, all the while maintaining compliance to agency policies, procedures, and practices, and representing the company in a position way. The work hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Duties:
  • Open each day, keep regular schedule, and secure at the end of the day
  • Greet donors in a prompt, friendly, and courteous manner, unload donations from vehicles, maintain accurate daily courts of donations, hand every donor a receipt, and break down donations into categories
  • Maintain drive-through and site in accordance with image standards and order and maintain supplies
  • Whenever possible, assist the Transportation team with the delivery and pick up equipment
  • Participate in activities outside the facility and attend in-service and elated training as assigned
  • Adhere to all company and personnel policies and procedures, follow good safety and security practices, and report safety hazards and injuries to manager
  • Perform other duties as needed

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, develop teamwork, and use courtesy and tact when dealing with people
  • Must have the ability to act with honesty and integrity, provide a safe and welcoming environment, and adapt to change while representing the company in a positive way
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and be comfortable with frequent standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, reaching, bending, and working outside in winter conditions
  • The ability to adhere to all company and personnel policies and procedures, and follow good safety and security practices is mandatory
