Immediate need for: Laborers, Mason's Helpers, Carpenter's Helpers and Construction Workers, who are the unsung heroes of every project. If you can carry, lift, and move with the best of them, or if you have some basic carpentry skills, you’re exactly who we’re looking for!

NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED FOR SOME OF THESE POSITIONS – WILL TRAIN!
Position: General Laborers, Construction Workers & Carpenter Helpers
Location: Bangor, Maine & Surrounding Areas

Ready to roll up your sleeves and get to work? Maine Staffing Group is looking for enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to fill General Laborer and Construction Worker positions with some of the largest companies in Maine. No experience, no problem! You’ll be trained on the job for many of our general laborer positions!

Job Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds (don’t worry, we’ll get you in shape!)
  • Tasks include bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, climbing, and may be working from ladders or heights.
  • You must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
  • Ability to work outside in all weather conditions (bring your jacket or sunscreen – we’ve got all four seasons here!).
  • Safety toe work boots (we care about your feet!).

Construction Laborer: Assists with building projects by preparing job sites, moving materials, operating basic tools, supporting skilled workers, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment.
Experienced Carpenter: Constructs, installs, and repairs structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials; reads blueprints, measures and cuts materials, operates hand and power tools, and ensures quality workmanship while following safety standards.
Clerical/Administrative Assistant: Provides office support by handling filing, data entry, scheduling, answering phones, managing correspondence, and maintaining records and documents.
Production Worker: Performs manufacturing and production tasks by operating equipment, assembling products, inspecting quality, packaging materials, and maintaining a safe and efficient work area.
Landscaper: Maintains and improves outdoor areas by mowing lawns, trimming trees and shrubs, planting flowers, installing landscaping features, and using hand and power tools to keep properties attractive and well-maintained.
Warehouse Worker: Receives, stores, picks, packs, and ships products, operates warehouse equipment, maintains inventory, and keeps work areas clean, organized, and safe.
