Job Title: Document Scanning & Imaging Specialist (Multiple Shifts)
Location: Bloomfield, CT, 06002
Pay Rate: $18.25/hr
Shifts Available:
  • 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Mon–Fri) — 3 openings

  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Mon–Fri) — 2 openings

Job Type: Temporary (Full-Time Onsite)

Interview Type: In-person (30 minutes)
 


About the Role

Ricoh is seeking multiple Document Scanning & Imaging Specialists to support high-volume document preparation and scanning operations at our Bloomfield, CT site. You’ll prepare documents for digitization, operate commercial scanners, and ensure quality and accuracy of scanned images. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in document management and production support.


Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare paper documents for scanning (remove staples, clips, bindings, etc.)

  • Insert barcodes and organize documents for accurate image capture

  • Operate KODAK and commercial scanning equipment

  • Perform quality checks on digital images and ensure accuracy

  • Maintain organized workstations and handle boxes (20–30 lbs.)

  • Report issues promptly and maintain consistent productivity

  • Follow company and site safety protocols


Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Basic computer and typing skills

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally with assistance

  • Prior experience in document scanning, imaging, or copy center work preferred (training provided)

  • Team-oriented attitude and strong communication skills


Work Environment
  • Onsite production environment

  • Moderate noise and fast-paced workflow

  • Standing and light physical activity required throughout shift
