Your Opportunity: The Occasions Group, a Taylor Corporation company, is looking for a (temporary) Equipment Operator to join the team in Sunman, IN.
Work Authorization:
To be considered for the Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
Your Responsibilities:
โ€ข Prepare and operate printing press equipment, in compliance with job specifications and in accordance with company quality standards and procedures.
โ€ข Performs daily/weekly/monthly maintenance on equipment to ensure optimum output.
โ€ข Prepare inks for proper color and consistency.
โ€ข Check paper for type, size, color and quantity.
โ€ข Check plates for correct format
โ€ข Visually inspect forms throughout run for quality
โ€ข Coordinate with Production Team to produce and prioritize jobs, and when necessary reorganize to meet deadline changes and updates.
โ€ข Maintain knowledge of safety requirements of job and equipment.
Your Shift: 1st Shift; Monday - Friday
You Must Have:
โ€ข Ability to set adjustable mechanism to required tolerances
โ€ข High degree of mathematical skills and attention to detail.
โ€ข High degree of mechanical ability
โ€ข Good reading ability.
Requirements Within This Position:
โ€ข Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
โ€ข Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
โ€ข Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
โ€ข Frequently required to move inside the facility
โ€ข Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)
