The Media Strategist is responsible for overseeing the development, promotion, and audience growth of the Haslam College of Business podcast, Office Hours: Business Edition, and related digital marketing campaigns. The podcast has grown significantly and now requires a dedicated resource to lead marketing strategy and audience development efforts. This individual will serve as the primary owner of podcast promotion across YouTube, social media, digital advertising, email campaigns, and other digital channels. The role blends content strategy, digital storytelling, marketing writing, social media management, analytics, and audience engagement to expand the reach and impact of podcast programming. Responsibilities include developing and executing marketing strategies, creating written and visual promotional content, managing podcast social media channels, analyzing campaign performance, reporting results to stakeholders, researching content opportunities, coordinating content calendars, and collaborating with hosts, guests, marketing teams, and agency partners. The ideal candidate will possess strong marketing writing skills, experience promoting podcasts and video content, knowledge of YouTube growth strategies, expertise in digital advertising, and the ability to use analytics to inform decision-making.
