Job Description

Clinical Support:
Prepare, set up, and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures
Welcome, seat, and prepare patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding of procedures
Assist chairside during exams and treatments by passing instruments, suctioning, and supporting the dentist
Take and develop dental X-rays in compliance with safety standards
Record and update patient health histories, treatment documentation, and dental charting accurately
Provide patient education regarding oral hygiene and post-treatment care
Maintain dental supply inventory and assist with restocking as needed
Assist with lab tasks such as pouring models, impressions, and temporary crown fabrications
Administrative Support:
Greet patients and manage front desk activities including phone calls and appointment scheduling
Update patient records, handle billing, process insurance forms, and streamline patient check-in/check-out
Maintain cleanliness and organization in reception and waiting areas
Support patient recall and follow-up communications
Assist staff by washing PPE and scrubs as necessary
General Expectations:
Uphold patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA and regulatory standards
Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and a patient-centered approach
Collaborate effectively with dental team members to maintain clinic efficiency
