Data Entry Operator

LabCorp is seeking a Data Entry Operator to join our team in St. Paul, MN!

Work Schedule:

Tuesday-Friday: 6:30am -3:00pm and Saturday 8:00am -4:30pm

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform data entry of patient's results in a timely and accurate manner
  • Print out and distribute daily worksheets for technical staff
  • Use various laboratory systems to enter test results
  • Ensure test results are stored in their proper location
  • Call client with test results when necessary
  • Order supplies for the department when need
  • Other administrative and clerical tasks as required
Minimum Qualification
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Preferred Qualification:
  • Current or prior Labcorp experience
  • 1 year or more of experience in a data entry position
  • 1 year or more of experience in the healthcare industry, such as a physician's office, clinic or hospital
  • 1 year of experience in an assembly or manufacturing production environment
Job Requirements:
  • Strong data entry and typing skills
  • Comfortable handling biological specimens
  • Ability to accurately identify specimens
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Well-versed in applications like Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and willingness to learn new applications
  • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
