Job description

LaSalle Network is hiring a Temporary Receptionist to provide front desk coverage for a well-established industrial company in downtown Chicago. This is a great opportunity for a polished, professional individual who enjoys creating a welcoming environment and keeping daily office operations running smoothly.
This short-term assignment is ideal for someone who is personable, organized and able to jump into a new environment with confidence.
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and guests by greeting, checking in and directing them appropriately
  • Answer and route incoming phone calls, take messages and transfer calls to the appropriate departments
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Provide light administrative support as needed throughout the day
  • Maintain a professional, organized and welcoming front desk environment

Requirements:
  • Previous receptionist, front desk or administrative experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Professional demeanor with strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a new environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and basic Microsoft Office applications
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

  • Compensation: $20-22/hr based on experience
