Job description

Operating Room RN – Operating Room

Shift: 3x12 day shifts; start times vary (either 06:45–19:15 or 09:00–21:30); weekend requirement: Yes

Assignment length: 13 weeks; guaranteed hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks

Must have a valid state RN license; minimum of 2 years of RN experience; experience with trauma Level I preferred; BLS certification required; ACLS & CNOR preferred; experience in scrub roles across various specialties including general surgery, ortho/spine, neuro, vascular, urology, ENT, gyn, and pediatrics; experience with robotic-assisted cases (Da Vinci Xi, Mazor)

Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting; collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and comfort; assist in surgical procedures, including preparation and sterilization of instruments; monitor patient status and respond to emergency situations; maintain accurate and detailed patient records; adhere to infection control policies and procedures

Submission requirements include SSN, DOB, and RTO; traveler must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year); housing options may be limited; candidates are advised to secure housing prior to the start
