Job Description

Provides pre-closing construction underwriting support and risk mitigation, along with the review of monthly construction draw requests and construction consultant reports, monitoring construction budgets and risk factors, tracking monthly progress, and making funding recommendations. The US Bancorp Impact Finance (USBIF) portfolio of multifamily commercial loans and tax credit equity investments (the "Assets") involves Low-Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTCs) and may also include New Markets Tax Credits (NMTCs) and Historic Tax Credits (HTCs). This position is accountable for reporting on construction performance and risk mitigation to Asset Management, Senior Leadership, and Credit Administration through construction completion of the Assets. Should demonstrate basic analytical and problem-solving skills, along with interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Basic Qualifications
- Typically High school diploma or equivalent and four or more years of related experience
OR
- Bachelor's degree and two or more years of related experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • General disbursing, real estate, or construction background

  • Relationship management abilities

  • Well-developed written, communication and presentation skills.

  • Knowledge of LIHTC, NMTC, HTC tax credit programs and/or construction lending

  • Advanced knowledge of financial analysis techniques and general accounting procedures

  • Well-developed mathematical and analytical skills

  • Considerable knowledge of financial analysis, forecasting, and planning

  • High attention to detail with ability to interpret data and identify and resolve exceptions

Location Expectations
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $80,280.00 - 98,120.00
