Job description

Adecco is hiring for a CNC Programmer in Clifton Springs, NY. This temp-to-hire position is a great opportunity to join a dynamic and innovative manufacturing company committed to delivering high-quality products. Shifts Available

1st: 4:00 am to 4:00 pm (Monday to Thursday)

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze engineering drawings and blueprints to develop efficient and cost-effective machining processes.

  • Review and improve existing machining processes, incorporating drawing revisions and lessons learned from prior production runs.

  • Collaborate with Engineers and Designers to resolve manufacturing challenges and improve product design for manufacturability.

  • Design and specify fixturing solutions for milling and/or turning operations, including automation for machine tending; oversee fabrication as required.

  • Select and recommend cutting tools in collaboration with tool distributors, manufacturers, and internal toolmakers.

  • Use CAM software to generate and optimize NC programs for Mill/Turn Lathes and/or Horizontal Mills.

  • Develop complete setup documentation, including setup sheets, drawing markups, and process notes.

  • Partner with Machinists and Inspectors to implement processes and drive continuous improvement on the shop floor.

  • Maintain and update NC programs and process documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and data integrity.

  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of CAM systems, programming tools, and manufacturing practices.

  • Support routing development, cost estimation, capital equipment selection, and new product introduction efforts.

  • Participate in departmental and organizational goal achievement aligned with Hoshin planning and business directives.

  • Engage in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives, promoting concepts such as Single Piece Flow and Value Stream optimization.

Qualifications:

  • Prior CNC Programming experience or in schooling or certification classes for CNC Programming

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
